Reading Week is a special time celebrated in schools to encourage students to read more books and develop the habit of reading. It is usually observed in the first week of September in Bhutan. During this week, teachers, parents, and students come together to highlight the importance of reading in our daily lives. Reading not only improves our knowledge but also helps us to think creatively and understand the world better. In my school, Reading Week is marked with different activities like story reading, quiz competitions, and reading corners. We also get opportunities to share our favorite stories and books with friends. Date:12/08/2025 Venue:MPH Every year 12th August is observed as the International Youth day across the globe. This year’s theme for IYD is “Youth Advancing Multilateral Cooperation through Technology and Partnerships” To commemorate the day the school ASPnet observed the day by conducting a multilateral dialogue simulation on the topic AI and Youth: Tools of progress or threats to Purpose.During the panel discussion Youth participants exchanged meaningful dialog on AI and its potential threats and opportunities. Besides, some young students came forward to creat a content based on the topic Online safety with an intent to spread awareness on the use of technology in our daily lives. Nonetheless, today’s remarkable day was signed off by immersing each and every one in the school with words of wisdom and encouragement from the Principal and madam Yeshey Choden. Happy Youth Day!
